Ben Nye Prosthetic Adhesive is a professional water-based SFX adhesive designed for securely attaching latex prosthetics, clown noses, rhinestones, small appliqués and other lightweight makeup effects to the skin. Its durable, sweat-resistant formula is ideal for theatre, film and television, cosplay, Halloween, drag, editorial makeup and other long-wear applications.

This strong cosmetic adhesive develops a flexible, reliable bond while remaining suitable for professional makeup use. It is a practical choice for both working makeup artists and anyone creating character or special-effects makeup.

Expect approximately 15–35 applications per ounce, depending on the amount used and the size of the application.

How to Use

Shake well before use. Apply a small amount of adhesive using a disposable applicator or suitable makeup tool. For the strongest hold, apply a thin layer to both the clean, dry skin and the prosthetic or appliance. Allow the adhesive to become tacky before positioning the prosthetic. Depending on the amount applied, this may take approximately 1–2 minutes. Press the appliance gently into place and allow the bond to set.

Removal : 

Do not pull prosthetics directly from the skin. For larger appliances, gently begin lifting from an edge while using an appropriate adhesive remover. Ben Nye recommends using a professional adhesive remover such as Remove-It All or Bond Off! Remover when working with Prosthetic Adhesive. Always make sure you have a suitable remover available before applying prosthetic adhesive.
